The Union of Bull Breeders of Lidia was founded on April 15, 1905 as a group of ranchers to protect their interests: defense against cattle traffickers, the abusive damage of the bulls of the time by the pujas and the opposition of some bullfighters to fight bulls from certain livestock farms.

The first acting Board of Directors was chaired by D. Cristóbal Colón y de la Cerda, Duke of Veragua.

From then on it would be published annually. In 1950, the 3rd Category ranchers formed the Association of Dealers and Morucheros.
